Sunday Night Ops - 26 April 09 - We will remember them

(Click on image for larger graphic of the route)
ANZAC Day (25 April) is observed in New Zealand as a day of commemoration for those who died in the service of their country and to honour returned servicemen and women.
25 April is the anniversary of the landing of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps at Gallipoli in 1915. On the first anniversary of that landing services were held throughout the country in remembrance of the 2,721 New Zealand soldiers who died during the eight-month Gallipoli Campaign. Since 1916 ANZAC Day has evolved to the observance we know today.
Tonight we remember those who have given their lives in service to the country by flying any era of military aircraft into the three major RNZAF Bases in New Zealand, RNZAF Whenuapai (NZWP), RNZAF Ohakea (NZOH) and RNZAF Woodbourne (NZWB) and also into the Air Movements base at Wellington Airport.
You can choose to fly one of the currently military aircraft:
You could even get out your favourite former RNZAF aircraft, A4 Skyhawk, MB339 Macchi, or something even older and bolder!
Come and experience flying into some airfields that you mightn't be used to flying in and out of.
