As the Real NZ Nelson FTX patch is designed to be installed after NZSI, and the NZSI SP2 'resets' most airports, the SP2 will overwrite some of the patch fixes.
Re-running the Nelson patch won't work in this case, so here's an easy fix. I may put this into a small patch executable at some stage, but Christmas day is not the time to be writing code...
Locate your FSX folder -- the default location is Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X, but you may have installed it elsewhere. Whatever the location is, I'll refer to it from now on as 'FSX\'
Open this folder:
FSX\ORBX\FTX_NZ\FTX_NZSI_05_SCENERY\scenery
Find all the files relating to Nelson -- NZNS. The easiest way to do this is to type 'NZNS' into the search box at the top of the Windows Explorer window which displays the folder above.
After installing NZSI SP2 over the top of Real NZ Nelson + FTX patch, you should see pairs of files with the same file name, but one with a .bgl extension and one with a .bak.
It is only these pairs which we should fix.
First, DELETE each pair with the .bak extension. (This is the original disabled 'backup' which the Nelson Patch creates.)
Then change the extension of each '.bgl' extension to .bak
This creates a new disabled 'backup'.
Do this for each pair -- there should be four pairs:
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZNS_objects.bgl
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZNS_objects.bak
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZNS.bgl
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZNS.bak
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZNS_CVX.bgl
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZNS_CVX.bak
FBP_FTX_NZSI_NZNS.bgl
FBP_FTX_NZSI_NZNS.bak
Don't worry about any other NZNS files here.
Now go back to the FSX folder, and open this folder:
FSX\Scenery\World\Scenery
Search as above for 'NZNS'
There is one duplicated file to look for:
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZNS_elevation_adjustment.Bak
ADE_FTX_NZSI_NZNS_elevation_adjustment.bgl
Once again, delete the .bak file, and rename the .bgl file to .bak
EDIT: This 'fix' assumes that NZSI SP2 was installed after Real NZ Nelson. If you install NZSI SP2 before Real NZ Nelson (including patch) then you won't have to worry about this.
