This shot reminded me of this story, a bright and shiny new airport but no people about...

This week I'll release issue four of the Godzone Subscription, which is all Wellington. The photoscenery is the main event, but I will also release a 'transitional' NZWN, which is part old Real NZ Wellington, and part updated Real NZ NZWN. So although the airport will be obviously unfinished, it should be a good match for the photo scenery. Provided I get enough support (i.e. customers!) I will make it a priority to finish NZWN (and Wellington City) as part of the Subscription.

I am aiming for a release on Wednesday. If you buy a Subscription tonight, you'll have time to download the existing scenery, and be ready for Wellington:)

The Subscription scenery works with FSX and Prepar3D, using Vector Land Class, FTX NZ or default scenery base.

Yes! But I suspect you'd need a really good imagination to get the most out of virtual beer... Which reminds me, I've been wondering how you'd find your beer with Occulus Rift -- maybe some sort of RFD tag so you don't knock it over?

Some more shots:

Although the night lighting won't be anywhere near finished with the initial release, here's a shot showing FTX lights with Godzone Wellington -- only the 'main' street lights show, as Orbx do include lights in their autogen, which is replaced by the photo scenery, but it does look nice anyway!

This is the current coverage. By the end of the Subscription, I hope to extend this as far as the eye can see here, plus all the way to the east.

This is one of my favourite P3D shots, for some reason, it just has so much detail.

Hi Rob
Be good if you could sneak up the coast a little to include NZPP in with the Wellington

That'll happen, provided everything goes as planned. 'I hope to extend this as far as the eye can see here' gives a bit of a hint, if you can see Kapiti in the pic, then you should be able to see Paraparaumu...

That's a bit of a sore point, the aerial image misses that bit, which is kinda weird -- so for complete honesty in advertising, I've shown it cropped off:)

Oh bugger. It doesn't worry me one way or the other. I didn't realise the boundaries were that precise.
