Missing Omaka vineyards

Postby richbarry » Mon Aug 29, 2016 6:30 pm

Hello Rob

In my FSX installation of Real Marlborough, the south west quarter of the airfield has the vineyard objects in place. In P3D, it doesn't. Do you happen to know what objects I need to transfer from FSX to P3D to get this part of the scenery running?
P3D has VLC libraries 1.46 installed, but it doesn't seem to come from there as I switched libraries and there was no difference in either simulator.

Thanks

From a vague recollection, the vineyards were simple library objects bordered by transparent side-textures, and were included in the Omaka library. So if you have Omaka objects (hangars etc) you should have the vineyards. Just by activating my FSX install in Prepar3d just now they show up, so I'm not sure what the problem could be. I'll do such more research...

Actually, on a closer look, all I see at Omaka is the main hangar and the vineyards... I'll look at it tomorrow when I'm back on deck.

Thanks. No big hurry. My closer comparison revealed just the main hanger and a picnic table. At least they've got somewhere to eat lunch...

Actually, I think the library is FS9, and while FSX can display it, Prepar3d can't. So I'll upload a version which should work. Damn NZFF, no file upload facility...

Ok, here's a quick fix for Prepar3d object visibility. Just drop the bgl file from the zip into RealNZmarlborough\Scenery and let it replace the existing file.
Not a complete compatibility fix, as I won't be updating Marlborough any time soon, but it should at least let you see most of the objects.
