Posted: Mon Oct 26, 2009 12:49 amTesting out the Corvette C6R in a 30 minute sprint race late in the afternoon at Laguna Seca, getting used to the handling of this beast of a machine before the big 6 hour labour day race tomorrow. No problems at the higher speed where it was designed to be, lower speed coming out of sharp flat turns, it becomes very loose as you'll see in one of the shots. The NBC chopper covering the sprint race, coming off the Rahal straight into the Cork screw, one of my favourite and least favourite parts of the track.
This DB9R was the closest rival behind me, there must have been a crash earlier on for him to be this far behind.
Very hard on the brakes here, what a beautiful machine.

Last shot, came out of the corner bad and still pushing it really hard. They were calling me 'Leadfoot' by the time the race was over!
This was the American Le Mans mod for rFactor. Waiting on rFactor 2 to come out which has the ALMS series included!
