The France VFR Paris scenery is very nice, but if you indulge in views like this, it can murder your frame rates. I installed their new Paris Airports pack this arv and flew all round Paris to get some pics.
12 jpegs, not quite 6MB all up.

Coulommiers

Fontenay

Nangis

Moret

Buno

Ferté Alais

Chavenay

Beynes

Mureaux

Chelles

Meaux

Thanks for posting, Mike.
This is a tricky one, I am wondering why they picked an area that already has a freeware offering within its boundary?
Framerate loss is not something I want to contemplate in AFS2, either.
Maybe all flightsims are doomed in this way...
EDIT:Must say your last screen is very nice indeed.

Thankyou, Charl.
I had the AFS2 community freeware Paris, and it was very good. The France VFR offering was to the same standard as their FSX/P3D stuff, so worth having for that, even though my GPU is not really up to it. And of course France VFR are the only commercial folk doing AFS2 these days, and I am happy to support them. I now have a 2TB SSD, so I will migrate the AFS2 stuff to that, and pick up a better GPU soon. There are plenty of 'obsolete' ones around, at good prices, but not too many in Oz, thanks to Covid19. Progress across the densest part of Paris can be slow, but if you just look down instead of searching the far horizon, it is OK. Flying from the cockpit also reduces the field of view to something more reasonable.
