I am a part of this group (or well maybe was until now). There are some very talented guys within this group, but I guess over 50% of the members are just there so they get a valid key and can fly BMS.
Since we wanted to avoid another leak happening, the exe was now keylocked (ironically something I requested over a year before the OF leak happened).
And well... so far the program itself wasn't leaked (it wouldn't make any sense to do so). You might have seen various screenshots though.
What happened so far is - NOTE THAT NEARLY ALL OF IT IS WIP!:
-DX9 conversion
-new lights and shaders
-the most sofisticated FMs seen in a flightsim to date
-some new airbases
-a fully working 6DOF 3dpit for the F-16
-lots of new 3d models
-new terrain engine
NO, you can't have it. Yes, a release is planned - within the next 6 months. The stuff isn't ready for a release by any means atm. E.g. there hasn't been any documentation, I doubt I'd get further than takeoff atm, I don't even dare to think about weapon deployment...
Why am I telling you this? Because I'm sick of screenshots flaoting around, nobody knowing whats going on.

It's one of the "branches" of [freeware] development of the original Falcon4 sim - still going strong after all these years.

I wish we could lock the whole lot of them in one room for a month ... bang their heads together, then supply them with food & fizzy drinks. Maybe it should be in Holland - a bit of "weed" might help to induce some friendliness
What an awesome sim would come out of that!

I'd imagine we'd wind up with something like FO in the end since they followed a similar path.
