Hi Team. FSX is still new.........yes it's been out for a while now.......but we are still learning lots about it.....It has come to my attention that some people aren't aware of the cool 'failures' that can add spice to any flight. Here's a few screenies of an RNZAF orion having a bad day!!!!!!! :(

Oil leak engine 1

That engine died not long after

Just as had feathered engine 1 and balanced the engines, engine 4 FIRE!!! :(

Play around with the 'failures'. There are a bunch of new ones found in FSX......They'll keep you on your toes.

You can say that after running E1 out of oil??
And we're waiting for the other shoe to drop here...does the wingtip fall off or what?? :o

looks like auntie helen needs to give the fleet an upgrade

you can fail wing surfaces in x-plane, but not in FSX

I think the orion problems make it more realistic or Airforce doesn't work anyway ;)

Perhaps I could try scuttle him with flour bombs, out the main exit door. I don't think the life raft in the bomb bay would have quite the same effect.

Neat. Is that effect set part of FSX by default or do they come with the addon Orion?
