There is mention for NEW farmland Landclass in this area by David , I believe thats a need for the entire country , :) , we will get there :D not by me but another maybe :)

Taranaki, my favorite volcano!! I love the fs9 version so must certainly try this one! wow what res in the mesh?

Iv searched avsim but can't find it.. i'll download it at school tomrow, 100kbs :P hehe

Hi ya James , Thats the Default X mesh , best just to search for Robin Corn :thumbup:

That looks stunning, much clearer than the FS9 version.

New Zealand in FSX is really coming along in leaps and bounds!

The pixel res is 2.5m/pixel

Walked up to the summit a couple of month's ago and my legs haven't forgiven me yet!

The mountain looks great, and the farmland's the right colour!

I tried this scenery on top of my own simple Taranaki addon, and it works fine. With this scenery I can forget about crude lanclass polys, and concentrate on adding the missing airports and landmarks.

Here's a shot of my own New Plymouth and farmland replacements blending into the photoreal mountain:

You can see where my darker Puakai Ranges forest landclass meets the photoreal scenery.

I flew over the NZMQ helibase, the only airport I added that is on top of the new photoreal scenery. It looked fine - in fact you can see how closely things line up:

You can see my four tanks, and the aerial images of them nearby. Also you can now see the two pipes leading to the two gas flares that I put in - cool!
