I've been intrigued by this whole concept from the start - unable to participate though as FSX is a dog on my set up <_<

Is this something that has only become possible since FSX or was it possible with FS2004?

Interested also to hear what happened to peoples frame rates with all those aircraft flying around - although I see that the airshow was flown in what appears to be an autogen-free featureless desert

Looks like it was great fun though, and well done to all the people who made it happen.

Looking forward to seeing videos :)

We actually recommended no Autogen recognising those with mid to low level machines would struggle. This was mainly dude to the non FSX aircraft being used, some of them non GMAX, so performance was always going to take a hit. The focus was always the displays, so autogen from that perspective became a mute point.

Thanks ever so much for sharing the screenshots, it looks like everything went to plan. You can really feel the vibe and atmosphere of an airshow through these pics.

I really like the heavy formation (A321, 747, C17) shot, reminds me a bit of the Whenupai C-130, B757, PC-3 formation :P

I think it was around 18 or so online, others may be able to confirm or correct this, I was rather busy most of the evening to keep a head count.

I am aware we had people sitting with others at their computer, such as Robin Corn was with Ian for a portion of the show.
