Currently, honing my hull building skills, it's been a while since I was in the dockyard.

:P

Ummm, probably go for the more simple shape of the Sangamon. I have a few photos from the 'net, one drawing (not plan) in the library book, so anything of use would be appreciated....thanks.

I tried landing the Maule on the carrier off SFO, but I 'floated' above the deck, so that's another set of skills to hone.

It was the usual carrier stationed off SFO, a flight sim tradition that goes way, way back pre MS. Even F18 Interceptor for the Amiga had one there. Flight Unlimited didn't, though.

I think a moving carrier would be easier, because the land speed is less, which helps a lot. I don't like angled flight decks, hence the preference for WW2 type.

My apologies, I have been otherwise engaged on multiple MSTS projects and will continue to be for some time. This means I don't have the time to proceed with the carrier project in the meantime. Thank you for the interest shown, perhaps one day....... ;)

I can get the carrier to move on a designated course and speed . If you get the time to make it Bazza. i can make it move .
Just putting some finishing touches on the Marlborough Sounds Boating project and updated Ferry crossing. As to makin the boats that is out of my league .
