I saw this demo from Horizon Simulaton today, if you click on the demo video link you will see a nice video showing what 10m mesh and 1.2m/pixel can do, together with FSX.

Nice video too, left me thinking what will NZ look like when we get the same 10m and 1.2m/pixel down here.

the shape of things to come?

smooth landings.

22GB required hard disk space! the results are nothing short of impressive tho, but methinks it'll give you a framerate of precisely ZERO

The Horizon page has two options, one to download a demo of the new product, and the other to see the video (windows media player based) of a flight around Snowdonia Nat. Park in England. It is a very impressive video, just to see the quality of the scenery and ther resolution.

Here is the link to the video, but you have to click on 'Demo video' in the quick links section.

If you cannot find it, then try:-

To find the VIDEO, click on the VFR Generation X picture, then under quick links there is a section headed more information, click on this and then on the next screen click on 'Demo video'. Well worth watching.

Hope that we get a 10m mesh and 1.2m/pixels resolution for NZ soon!!

Smooth landings.
