Jetranger.
Any way to alter the engine volume in external views.
Like, in the first view in the next category for example.
I realise I can just turn up the volume but then it's too loud in the VC.

In the sound and settings menu tab on main interface ,you have engine and cockpit sound settings ,i imagine this would do it wouldnt it ? just adjust the sliders

Yes but it also controls the volume in the cockpit.
I wish to increase the engine volume in the external view only.

Yeah i did a quick test and had the same problem ,no change at all ..

You can do this in the sound.cfg for the aircraft.....there is documentation in the FSX SDK. Ive had a quick play with some sound stuff but haven't done enough to give any advice.....the settings are pretty self evident though.

Still no joy with this.
I have gone into the Jetranger cfg file.
Have changed all the "OutsideConeVolume" values except the jet wine.
Have gone up to 13000 & down to 5000.
Dosent seem to make any difference.
I must be in the wrong file.
