Okay; dumb question #1: is there anyway to resize aircraft, airport, landing and tower lights? I've done any number of searches (both on AvSim and Flightsim.com) and am unable to find a satisfactory answer. I'm using the old FS9.cfg tweak:

RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=1.2
RUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=1.0
RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=1.0
RUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=1.5

and have adjusted these figures up and downwards ad nauseaum, but it just does not seem to make any difference.

Would switching the light .bmp's to those found in the old FS9 Nick's LightFix do the trick?

Enquiring minds would really like to know.

Okay; this morning I switched out the default halo and spotlight .bmps with those supplied in Nick's FS9 Lightfix (as well as the various effects and textures, after backing up defaults, of course ) and ... voila; much more subtle light effects now.
