Am thinking of buying a SSD as a second drive to dedicate to FSX.

Is there anyway one can install FSX twice on the same computer? What I would like to do is install FSX on the new drive and then slowly transfer all my old files over to the new setup.

Is is now installed on your main OS (C:) hard drive or on a separate hard drive?

It is on my main OS© drive! The new drive will become a second drive.

OK I don't think it would work if it had of been on another hard drive you could of just disconnected that drive to install it on the new one.

You could back up the files you want to keep, then uninstall fsx, then install it on the desired drive, then move all the of the stuff into the new fsx folder.

It's possible. I've done it on my pc.

Rename your old FSX folder and the folder where your FSX.cfg is (C drive), and do a quick install of FSX on the new drive, just don't activate it yet. Grab the FSX files you need from the C drive and paste them into your FSX folder (SSD), then uninstall FSX on your C drive then your good to go.
