Well my purcahse from Mighty Ape arrived this morning. FSX with Acceleration. $49.49 +P&P. Now I want to install it on my remote HD so can have FS9 going as weel. Is this any problem and do ADDONS go to the remote HD as well. Also any tips on how to insatll this.
Many questions to come.

Just remember to do a good defrag of the HD.
By remote hardrive do you mean external (outside of the computer)?

I would imagine that the data transfer speed of an external drive would hinder performance. Why not put on on your main hard drive? No reason why FS9 and FSX won't co-exist. They do on mine and many others'.

Just don't install it in \program files !!
Install it into c:\fsx and it will exist quite happily next to fs9 (which should be in c:\fs9). Works great for me
