When I start FSX up I get the "There are multiple objects with the same title name" message. I know how to fix this, but because I've installed many, many WOAI and MIAW packages the message comes up literally hundreds of times. I usually work around this by holding down the Enter key for several minutes but this is both time consuming and extremely boring (I could tell you every type of problem aircraft ive seen all of them that many times! laugh.gif ). So I am wondering, is there a piece of software someone has made to fix this problem en masse?

There are some Programs that do this well though i found just looking at the file name and finding it in search does the job just as well and at least you know its not deleting anything you didnt intended to ,the Programs are $$ and is a waste unless there are free ones that do it without pop up to new full versions that dont work anyway ..

Just take note of which AC which have duplicates, then open the aircraft cfg file and delete the doupled up [fltsim.x] entry. Takes a while but is very easy.

If you are using Windows 7 make sure you edit the security settings of the file first so you will be able to save changes.

Is certainly a bit of a pain correcting it, but worthwhile. I first noticed this when I upgraded from FS9 to FSX, FS9 apparently not as picky about it.
