I was Testing the Andover paint/skin and found all sorts going wrong .. PC run well 24/7 but not in Flightsim , not only did it not run it even shut pc off?

Hokay , We had one heck of a 'Think Tank' here month so back , chattin , me .. I was to fix the problem by buying a new HOT pc , this arrives the sarvo . Robin Corn (REALNZ) , Jon Murchison (ARNZ) and myself chat'd away for idea's on other projects but since I was the ONE with a funny dont work .. PC .. I deleted all FS9 , took probally 3 to 4 hours going thru , .......umm I have a lot of payware , plus the testing plus the beta's plus what i wanted to test the mentioned may crash pc .. Saved then deleted all ,

Ok, old pc able to run FSX .. P4 3.4 , down to a 1GB of ram 'another prob' , with a NVIDIA GeForce 6800 /128mg

Result ! WICKED!!

I found that fsx just made my pc turn off, it happend mostly in the adventure were you in a 738 and have dual engine failure. Happend about 4times I thinik, so restart, and then a fewq days later my pwer supply craped out... I have since kept away from fsx untill i have more ram/better gcard.

That autgen looks great, I see you have quite low frams in some screenies thow, have you done any tweaks, some tweaks to the autogen really improve fps

Hi James , Thats the FSX Autogen MAXED! sliders to the as far as they go ! great result 'A' .. autogen is the orginal from Robin's Vol 1 GZvirtual Flight/REALNZ .

Posibile? need to ask Robin , he's super busy , It looks good , its so big it can't be d/loaded , and will not match the mesh but the photo g/texture is superb i look at it all the time ( real flight , sim ) , I used it always , Bias due to work and little parts done .

Pretty cool seeing that, the second to last pic shows what I love about FSX -- real atmospherics, lighting etc, most flights look real from start to finish.
I'll have to revisit the Square, seeing that building with all the black trim (meant to be white, of course) reminds me of one of the things on my wish-list way back in 2003 -- self-shadowing on the building in the top right of the Square s/shot. I might give it a go now that FSX can handle self-shadowing. Haven't quite got it to work yet, but I'll get there.
The problem with FSX autogen appears to be more to do with the complexity of the new objects, rather than just the density. With FS2004-style autogen like this you can get away with very high settings, in fact I'd recommend it for any pre-FSX scenery otherwise the autogen be quite sparse. And if the autogen has been built denser than FS2004 was able to display then you'll get the extra stuff showing up.

Well not yet , PC now tomorrow , good thing is, make sure all is backed up ... not like recent mishap , NZNV source file and pleased to see some of history's agn scenery start appearing good on X

Ahh, so thats X on your old computer? Hmm, hokay, make sure you save the flight and transfer it over to the new machine, see some screenies and compare performance. Happy flying once you get it!

properly setup for landing , reverse pitch and brakes , 150/200 meters , even backup if u felt the landin a little to long , i guess it could be shorter with practice . Just don't do what the AirForce did during the 1987 Singapore/Christchurch air-race Airshow and burst a tyre

200 metres!!? Holy moly, it takes a lot of braking to stop the Tecnam in that (at least for me)!

, not every day landings Monkey , ya make the cockpit very crowded ! , only demos at airshows I'll dig up a manual later on and get the spec's for interest sake

I've been in them a couple of times, thats why you have a net on the seat facing(seating side-on) the front of the aircraft or seats facing rearward. Man do they stop you in a hurry.
