Hi Everyone

I'm looking for some help.

I recently purchased a computer, I5 quade with 16GB ram.
To help improve my graphics, I purchased a ASUS HD6670, 1GB. After purchasing the PMDG 737-800NGX, the recommendations was a 2GB video card.
So I uprgraded my Graphics card to a ASUS GTX 660, OC edition, 2GB memory.

Well, I thought I would take my PMDG Qantas737-800NGX on a trip around the world, so I planed my trip using FSC, planed my route departing from Sydney. I loaded my FMC, taxied to runway 16R, throttled up, got 100ft off the ground, and the screen freezed. grrrrrr,

I had set the FSX graphics settings to the recommended PMDG settings.

Does anybody know whats wrong or have similar problems ?

Turn them way down tongue.gif
At least try it turned way down, and if you have no problems, then you know whats causing it... Then start turning them back up, one at a time and test, and you will find out quickly which setting is causing the problem.

What frame rates where you getting when the screen froze? There's a chance it might not even be related to graphics at all...
