My system is as follows:-
Motherboard - Gigabyte Z68M-D2H Ultradurable, Ultracool, Ultra power efficient, Ultra performance..............
Intel Z68/rev.1.0
Socket1155/PCI-E2.Ox 16/Micro ATX
4 DDR3 2-CH/HD Audio
GbE LAN/2 SATA 6Gb/s/14 USB 2.0
Running Windows 7 Home Premium
Intel Core I7-2600K CPU@3.40Ghz
8.0 GB Ram wqith an Nvidia Geforce GTX 460...............
I am thinking of upgrading to a Gigabyte Geforce GTX Ti 650 2GB DDR5
From all accounts this is really good Graphics Card, but can only assume that its as good as the
motherboard will allow - something that I don't have a clue about...................
So I will gladly bow to those who have much greater knowledge than I and ask - is this a good move or not?
Would I see a marked improvement or is it a waste of money..........
I would gladly appreciate an honest response regarding this as I am not an IT person (as one has already gathered).

with your current rig /system/pc it would enhance so much making viewing more vibrant

Many thanks Ian. I have a 23" flat screen so that would enhance even further.

Hi Barrington

If your motherboard is running an i7 then it's pretty recent so will be fine.

re: graphics. I have a 670GTX but that's overkill for FSX. FSX is VERY dependent on your cpu so greater speed there is going to improve things.

With clock speed rather than number of cores being the main factor.

How do i tell what clock speed I am using and what in your opinion would
be acceptable from my specs as above?
