I no or knew a Ansett 146 pilot who got a nickname for that very reason ... and Graham was the chief 146 cap on its introduction into New Zealand ... the diversion thing you no ... Safety first ! bills later !

Currently doing a SI tour, stopping in at all the airports & strips.
I'm making a note of which ones have fuel available.

Go Shift + F

If your ever needing fuel at gore look between the two hangers and u will see a grass open patch with the fuel just a usefull tip to help with your flight

Thanks, but I managed to find that one when I was doing the Southland strips.
I'm doing the Otago ones now.
