FSX loads default flight automatically

When I start up FSX, instead of going to the menu screen like it used to, it automatically starts the painfully long process of loading my default flight. How can I stop this?

Try Settings: General: Program: Show opening screen.

yeah I had the same problem... and robin is right... that 'Show Opening Screen' is the answer... I thought it was to turn off the splash screen during startup doh!

haha glad im not alone, was scrolling threw the fs9.cfg once, thought I had found the line that would change mylife! hahaha

Mean old ms, get us all excited like, then all you get is straight to the defualt flight ahaha
