Islands made of water??

A forum specifically to discuss the latest and greatest of all flight simulators

On my home installation of FSX, my photoreal islands are treated as water for some reason (i.e. you cant touch down on them with a chopper- you will sink and crash, on motiti if you overshoot off the flatten, you will fall into 'water' even though it is textured as land...)

This only seems to be a problem at home....the installation of FSX here at work doesnt do it...and no-one has complained about this happening on my Island scenery.....????

Anybody got any ideas? (I havnt tested this on non-photoreal islands)
