Has anybody else noticed what appear to be oval racetracks near many townships where the track is filled with blue? I'm wondering whether this is peculiar to my setup or is it a fault with my texture/landclass. I'm running with default mesh and the topo installed. I notice it particularly around Levin/Foxton areas but other areas also experience this. It really detracts from a nice landscape otherwise.

Hoping someone can help,
Paul

Can you post a screen shot? What do you mean by blue exactly? A water polygon?

Around a lot of towns there are water polygons of sewerage settling ponds...

Yes, I would think that you are looking at water polygons. There's quite a lot of water around the Manawatu, and it does tend to show up with a definite edge -- this is a standard lake-shore texture, which can really stand out amongst the brown default landclass. Having water settings turned right up high can give a really startling effect with tiny lakes, so you could try turning down the water effects a bit.
