FSX Acceleration Questions

hi can any tell me the best way to get the helicopter to hover in order to pick up sling loads and also is anyone planning to make some kiwi missions for fsx

There isnt really an easy answer to that to be honest...have you completed the helicopter training missions in FSX yet?

hmm Ok- I havnt had a chance to play that one yet but the control imputs to keep a sling load steady are actually counter-intuitive.

If the load swings right, your immediate instinct is to input left cyclic to stop the movement right. This actually aggrivates the problem more as the load will 'pull' even more to the right due to centripital force generated by the sling load.

What you need to do is 'catch' the load by applying right cyclic to move the a/c back over the top of the load.

you have to stay above a certain altitude other wise you will destroy what is in the sling

hey i know the feeling as I have gained an unoffical black belt in destroying the loads and hoist victims but need to obtain the belt for keeping the loads whole
