While I'm on the topic of groundbreaking FSX stuff - VOZ for FSX(No it's not really called that) is available from Orbx.
It's payware but it looks amazing

Quite a tempting price, it certainly won't break the bank to try this out -- except that after paying my tax I have $14 left on my credit card:)
Still, this'll probably be my next purchase. The screenshots on their site are rather... I dunno, kind of vague, so I'm looking forward to seeing some screenshots here.

A similar thread over at Avsim came up with this link.
The problem I (and a few other folk by the looks) had with the screenshots is that they show a lot of nice sky, water, dawn/dusk shots, but not much of the actual product. Still, these latest shots are a bit more promising.

The flightsim store is hopeless. I registered, ordered then found it had ordered 3 copies. They corrected this - now I cannot get back on to my account to download the file and get the key code. They say they are overloaded!!! The file is 750mbs by the way!!

Internet salesman's dream come true...site crashed due to excessive downloading...
If they have even 10% of the interest shown originally in VOZ, they are set.
Goodonem

Yes, I can only assume that they've taken more money in the last 24 hours than I've taken in the financial year:)

Hey, I meant it as a good thing -- I have learnt a bit about marketing from them, and at the moment I'm thinking that it would make more sense to work with 'em rather than agin 'em...

Yeah good on Koorby. Clever move turning his massive freeware achievement into a profitable venture
