Often I see on the forum and PC Pilot/Computer Pilot magazines, great shots inside the aircraft....Cabin, Crew, 1st class, economy etc etc.
Can anyone tell me how I can enjoy the same opportunity to travel through the aircraft etc.........
I have a scroll mouse but doubt if that's the answer.
Do I need a particular application or what do I need to set up to enjoy!
Any input much appreciated.
As I am a a novice to this area please spell out in simple layman's language.
Many thanks

Mostly this depends on the creators of the aircraft, and whether they've worked to model the inside of the aircraft as well as the outside.

The only real way to go through the inside of an FS aircraft is to be on the look-out for aircraft that are created with it included. Most often you'll find that these aircraft are payware, as opposed to freeware. winkyy.gif

If the aircraft has a high detailed inside and inculeds acouple of extra seats down the back you can use a payware addon called "DBS walk and follow for FSX" just goggle it ,,this can be used for both fs9 and X if you by the combo

If you are really interested, then have a look under the SDK at Microsoft. They have some info about using the SDK to change the camera views. Here is the link:-

smooth landings.

You can easily map the camera-move commands to keyboard buttons. I've got mine mapped to various keys on my numpad. They're called 'Eye point (move X)' in the Buttons/Keys Control settings tab.

@Steve: Your PC should run it well!
Mine does smile.gif

Have you got FSX yet? If not, get FSX Gold edition. It comes with FSX Deluxe and Acceleration for $100.

I got mine for $75 though. There was a $10 discount in store, and I got 15% off because I signed up to 'wEB mail'

Nick I have had FSX deluxe for ages but never had the machine to run it on until now. I also have Acceleration X.
I have to say I am not really that impressed so far...very similar to FS9 . Most of what scenery I have is just default stuff...not at all impressive and nor is the landclass. Is it not possible to cycle thru from the 2D to VC cockpit using the S key? Mind you I have not started tweaking it yet. With FSX deluxe and acceleration X do I need the service packs?

There are a lot more views available in FSX, so it doesn't make sense to cycle all of them using the S key. Within each major view, you can cycle through other views using the A key. So once you are in a cockpit view, you can cycle from 3D to 2D to whatever other views are programmed in. (For instance the default 172 cycles through: Virtual Cockpit; Right Seat; Radio Stack; Light Switches; (2D) Cockpit.)

No Sp's with Accel, already come with SP2.

I love FSX, haven't gone back to FS9 yet smile.gif

When I first started playing it I was annoyed that I had to right click > aircraft > VC.
But I found some shortcuts

F9 is VC
F11 is Locked spot
F10 is cokpit (I think)

Hope this helps.....what are you're settings? Have you applied the LC update in your mesh folder?

Thanks for that. I haven't even had a good look at any of the documentation yet...just tooling around.
What landclass update are you referring to Nick?
I'll make this the last post here as it is a pinned post and off topic.
