Download Flight Simulator X Service Packs

Remember ALL users running FSX should download and install the service packs which make a considerable difference to performance of the simulator as well as fix anomalies in the scenery.

Step 1: Download Service Pack 1 (SP1) Click to download

Step 2: Download Service Pack 2 (SP2) Click to download

Note: If you have purchased and installed the 'FSX: Acceleration' addon pack, the service packs are included in the install.

If you purchased the 'Deluxe' version of the FSX (which comes in a gold tinged box) and intend to use the SDK (Software Development Kit) you will also need to install the revelant SDK Service packs (SDK SP1a and SDK SP2)

All downloads can be obtained from the official Flight Simulator site FSinsider.com

so the new demo is based on the retail version of FSX, as opposed to the pre-release version... sounds like good news for the full retail version then, if it's better. (note the difference in file name- fsxprereleasedemo.exe vs fsxdemo.exe)

Although I haven't downloaded it myself, this one contains the much awaited non-aircraft traffic like birds and cars. ;)

Two demos already? Why the need?

And what area does this second one cover, just Princess Juliana again?
