I finally got my flightsim set-up sorted - although most my airfields for some reason are now just above the ground or in shallow depressions :(

Getting back into repainting after my enforced break, I found a couple of interesting Cessnas that I thought I'd share as repaints...

An exotic looking scheme on an Island Air C206 from Tauranga

and one from the Hauraki Aero Club - who obviously like to make sure that everyone knows where they're from

Look for them on Avsim in the next couple of days.

Steve

[Apologies if either of these have already been covered by GNZLAP Charl - haven't got around to getting my AI back together yet]

Go Jenks!
Not in GNZLAP but sure will be.
Any southerners upcoming?
There is a dearth of Cessna's south of Nelson...

JSG is in fact currently based at Nelson Aero club, it's now got Nelson Aero Club painted on the side ;)

Apparently it's a 172M with a few extra horsepower...according to the NAC website anyway

Charl, you asked for some Southerners...

Some of these are extensions of ones I have already done, but they will still fill gaps I guess. [And if you look carefully some of them are actually different. Different styles or sizes of lettering, stripes in a slightly different place etc.] These ones are 99% complete - I have another 9 in the paintshop.

Air West Coast - I sometimes see this one in Wellington.

Another of Milford Scenic's fleet.

Glenorchy Air 172.

A hard to miss scheme on 'FMA from Southern Alps Air.

And since I was painting bright yellow on 'FMA I thought I may as well do 'SME... similar, but not the same

A couple more of Air Fiordland's fleet - 'WWH and 'KPW.

And finally, for now, another Cessna from Wanaka Flightseeing.

(I'll wait until they are all complete and then create the info file and upload them all at once, as I find that part of the process quite tedious <_< ).

Great stuff Steve.
I know some of the Mainlanders can't wait for those, too.
PM me if you want packaging assistance.

Charl, I may take you up on your offer :)
I'll let you know when I'm close to uploading stage.

Thanks

Still a fair few moving their way through the paintshop, so I'll keep updating this thread as I go.

Then again... Rick Piper has just given me the paintkit for the Andover... I'm tempted to give that a go first... who wants to see some RNZAF Andovers ;)

Growing up as an 'Air Force brat' on bases around the world, painting something with Kiwi roundels on it is still my true calling :D (and I promise the Kiwis will be accurate :P )

Promise I'll keep the AI going though :)
