In answer to ongoing questions about GNZLAP AFCADs:
The Readme says: (Note RBE is now called Simpilot Experience)
The AFCADs were set up to work for this configuration:
- RBE topo
- RBE 20m mesh
The RealNZ airports have AFCADs included here which can safely be used, overwriting the originals to add more realism.
There may be some issues if your setup uses a different mesh.
The GNZLAP project started partly as a result of the RealNZ sceneries needing AI population...
All the RealNZ FS9 sceneries have replacement GNZLAP AFCADs available which place the GA (and other) aircraft correctly.
E.g. NZTG puts Bayflight on the concrete pads next to the taxiway around the back, in order; NZWN has additional GA over the runway, so too NZRO and NZPN.
Tekapo too.
NZWB has parking for C130, CT4 and helos (in the RNZAF AI packages)
etc etc
All other GNZLAP AFCADs are fillers for places where no aircraft parking exists in your stock setup, use them only where you have nothing in the way of AFCAD to park the aircraft.
Lawrie Roache's sceneries are of a later vintage than GNZLAP, so would not require the use of GNZLAP AFCADs.
