Installation of Lawrie's recent series of airports has highlighted a problem I have. In each case I find that the nearby water, (i.e. rivers, harbours etc) is not present. The areas that should be covered with water are covered with "generic" land and spattered with strange Microsoft looking buildings. This is particularly noticeable at Whangarei where there is nowater at either end of the airstrip, Dargaville same again with the bridge over dry land, and Whitianga.
I am running FS9, Red Baron 75 metre mesh, and have the NZ Lakes fix. As per instructions in the Red Baron read-me's, I have the Terrain Max set at 21 - it was at 19 but neither settinghas made any difference.
I have correct water levels at Rotorua and Tauranga - running Real NZ.
I do not have the NZ Topo and don't feel that this should be necessary, although I may have to look into this if all else fails. The Red Baron instructions suggest that the siting ofthis in the Scenery Library is not important however shifting it up and/or down has not made any difference either. I can reload the Red Baron again but again can't see how this would help.
Hopefully someone may have some ideas on this ?
