Sweet as Lawrie- am I right in thinking we won't need to download a load of EZ scenery files for this one seeing as the photoreal buildings will be included?

Mike did all the photoreal buildings for it, and ive put it all together, with a custom AFCAD, and added a lot of other scenic details and buildings that Mike didnt get around to doing.
Guess you could say its a joint effort between the two of us.
All the photoreal building textures are included with the scenery, but there are still a few EZ scenery libraries required for a couple of other buildings, and scenic details etc.
If you have my previous NZNP scenery, you will have ALL of the libraries required already, except for 2 new ones that i havnt used before, which are listed in the install instructions.
Probably be up on Avsim either later tonight , or tommorrow morning.

Thanks, but im only really looking for FSX New Plymouth scenery, i have the one form the ARNZX site but i would like some in more detail. Also thanks Creator2003, I have tryed yours but all the buildings are on the tarmac, and there is no where to taxi in and park, so i cant use it. SO does anyone know where I can find some New Plymouth airport scenery, i recall seeing FSX new plymouth scenery being made by " Riddlez" on this forum, but i cant seem to find it on here anymore, i think it was called "New Plymouth Finaly" or something like that.

Cheers happy.gif

There is nothing stopping anyone placing my objects again ,and seeing they are the only detailed models available out there for the moment i dont see why nobody would make the effort to place them like Lawrie did with them in FS9 ,this isnt rocket science and only a ten minute job ,I had made a little afcad to start placing them around this , so you could just rebuild the afcad even easier than placing them ...

If anyone would like to do this with these objects in FSX for the mean time you are welcome to do so ,also i have no problems you uploading the complete package to avsim when you are finished as long as you put models made by Creator2003 etc
This also goes for the beta taupoX i started thats two airports right there and a good start to getting photoreal buildings for both ,just let me know by PM so i know whos working on them ..

Great news Che. I was born and raised in Hawera and got to see all the big projects in NP as they were built, including the power station, Maui, Motunui etc. My friends father was a welder on the NP power station project back in the 70's and I got to go through the whole plant - I was only 7 at the time. Unfortunately we could not get up to the chimney on the day I was there, but we did get on top of the boiler house which is close to 200 ft itself.
I have also been to the top of Paritutu many times. A great vantage point.

I have got a Hawera aerodrome scenery which has been on the back burner for a while, so will have to get it squared away. Just need Stratford aerodrome, Norfolk rd and few of the energy projects added an the Naki will be looking good in FS!! A shame we can't get all the photo real covering the area as Taranaki is quite a nice size area to cover.

Deane

well Deane, from one hawera boy to another, hurry up, FSX needs hawera, i miss the old town, loved climbing up the water tower when you were allowed too, used to go up to NP and watch the big loads going out to the synfuel plant, they moved some big equipment there. if you finish off hawera, you will have to do kiwi dairy's, my grandfather and dad spent alot of time out there, an i got to see through the place too. i used to live in Grant V.C. St, where in Hawera did you grow up??
