Now that's something I've always meant to check out but never got around to doing - mainly because I don't know where they are located - but probably laziness plays a significant part in that too unsure.gif .

I suspect that unless they are very close to the shoreline that they won't have been included.

Ah, not specifically about oil rigs, but related to.
How do you find the fuel locations at airports.
Some are obvious but others not so.
For example Invercargill.
Still haven't found it.
Whoops, should have added, from NZSI

At flightsim.com , Navigation maps

For the dumbies and even for following a flight and beacons still work you can put these into a A4 clear-folder and have it sitting on your desktop , as old as they are made from original real flight plans with all the beacons NDB -VORs and headings .

FS2004/FSX New Zealand Navigation Flight Maps and Beacons/NDB's/VOR data. Includes four sheets with frequency and five sheets in A4 format for ease and printing. Based on real hi/low altitude flight charts. By Ian Warren.

Most of this data was made and edited from FS dated from 1998 and still works fine

Custom models would be cool, but as Mike (Creator) says there's already an FSX compatible and landable set of rigs for FSX. See his link, might save you some time smile.gif

Timmo , Im just in the process of loading FSX onto a separate drive so i can have it 100% VLC ..... and keep the other stuff (Orbx/FSX) on another drive. I always get problems when i mix them up.
