That link appears munged ... try this one ...

Funny ... my "insert link" function in the editor seems to have stopped working in Firefox 3.5 sad.gif ... had to do this one manually.

Good to see Rob is back at work!

Great to hear things are progressing for you Robin, in all aspects. I look forward to my home airport being done by you, I know it will be as good as all your others and will be worth the wait. Look forward to pre-release sales being opened!

One of my hopes too,................... but i think Robin has already stated that this will be for FSX only.
Those of us with FS9 will have to remain happy with the older NZ Scenery Design Groups freeware Christchurch / Canterbury scenery
avaialable here............. http://snowman.ozsimdev.com.au/index.php?i...ew&iden=143

I don't plan to make a FS2004 version. As Lawrie mentioned, there is already a NZCH scenery available for FS2004.

Feel free to ignore this question Robin laugh.gif
Um, how are you planning to handle all the new terminals etc due to be completed about 2011 at NZCH? Is this scenery going to be dated say 2008?2009?
Cheers!

Because I only work with photographic textures, I can only model what I can photograph, so the original release will be as it is at the moment. So it'll have the new tower, but not the new terminal. However, I have designed it so that the terminal models are separate from the rest of the airport, so that they can be easily replaced, and I plan to release an update when the terminal is complete. Since I live in Christchurch, and I'm keen to keep an eye on the new development, it makes sense to issue an update or two.
This'll be a one-off, though, normally I don't do updates.

That's really great to hear Robin. It is going to be quite a change in the way the airport looks. I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with, and you of course! Thanks for the reply.

On the Christchurch Airport website they have a virtual tour of the new airport. I'm guessing it's in 3D, wonder how much it would cost to buy those modelds?
