Yep I use it as well.

I did wonder about the Palm trees but thought since I'm in Palmy North I figured it was a tribute to our weather tongue.gif

I'll have another look and compare with your screenshots Lawrie.

BTW I have your Forest Field and West Melton now thanks, can't wait for Rangiora (I sent you an email regarding this a few days ago).

I've been using TreesX for ages- it quadruples the amount of tree coverage without reducing framerates- makes everything look way more realistic from 2000 feet AGL +, although I have to admit, it can be annoying coming into land or flying low level and finding tropical fauna around the Chateau at Ruapehu...

Rangiora should be out hopefully by this weekend. It includes a small bonus scenery of NZSW Swannanoa as well.
Remember, the 4 sceneries ive built for the area, are built to fit the large Canterbury / Christchurch photoreal scenery. It has its own autogen files, so the types of trees shown in and around my 4 sceneries are dictated by those agn files. The tree types, and the placement of them will be different in default without the photoreal.

Thank-you,.. yes, i did get your e-mail. The AIP chart i already had, but the future proposal expansion plan was interesting. If it all goes ahead, i will have to release an update for NZRT.

Well here's my West Melton palm trees:

Ooh look they're at Rangiora too sad.gif :

Never liked runway 22 anyway.

Hmmm must have stuffed up somewhere unsure.gif

EDIT: After a quick play it seems they are only present at West Melton, Forest Field, Swannanoa and Rangiora.
They are not present at Ashburton, Christchurch or Wigram or on the plains.

Well,........... they are NOT the trees ive planted,...................
I can only suspect that you havnt done this step in the instructions ( in BOLD lettering ).........................

lens ez scenery library vol-1 by Len Hickman.
small airport objects 2 by Steve Ziegler.
ez-extra-objects-1.zip by Steve Ziegler.
ez-extra-objects-1-textures.zip by Steve Ziegler.
ez old workshop 1 by Steve Ziegler.
ga hangers by Steve Ziegler.
ez hangers by Dennis Waggoner.
gas pumps ss by Sidney Schwartz.
small airstrip objects ss by Sidney Schwartz.
ga hangers ss v3 by Sidney Schwartz.
ez large hangers ss by Sidney Schwartz.
ag tree lib 11 by Arno Gerretson and Stephen Legg.

IMPORTANT NOTE !! This last set (ag tree lib 11),...... ONLY install the following 2 files
into the Static Objects Library "Scenery" folder,......

ag_tree_lib.BGL
ag_tree_lib.xml

DO NOT install the textures !!
If you HAVE followed this step correctly, then the ONLY other possibility is that you have that particular tree object set installed in another freeware scenery somewhere in your sim ( not necessarily in NZ). The BGL files in my scenery will be picking the textures from there.

Also, going by the AFCAD "Astroturf" green grass taxiways i can see in your pics, and that fact that they run through my fencing, its NOT my AFCADs youre using in the sceneries either !!!
I would rather suspect you havnt followed the steps in the instructions relating to disabling certain files in the Christchurch / Canterbury photoreal scenery.....
Also, check in the FS9 / Addon Scenery / Scenery folder and make sure you have NO other AFCADs for those airports in there ( as per the instructions).
If there are,.......... REMOVE them !!

Yeah that'll be it.
I think I assumed they were already in your Static Objects Library.

Never assume.....

You DONT need the textures installed. If you install them, then they will stop whatever tree textures you have installed in the main FS Texture folder from showing.
I my case, the textures ive got installed are the Tree-X ones, which overwrite the default FS9 textures, using the same filenames.

Yep,.............. never assume,...............
You know what assume means dont you.................
