A tip if it isn't too late- Instead of using an apron to define the taxiways- use an actual taxi way (or vehicle path) and set to dirt. That way a) AI and the automatic taxi directions will automatically work and b) the boundaries will be automatically smoothed so you avoid the jagged look at the edges.
