Searching for an AFCAD to fit Robin's Godzone NZTI and the photoreal Dunedin. I remember Charl released one in the first GNZLAP pack but this was pulled and never re-released.

Have had to re-install all my NZ sceneries (due to file corruption and forgot to package the custom NZTI I had created many years ago). If anyone has a copy of this AFCAD and would be willing to forward it on, I would be most grateful.

TIA.

I recall Lawrie (snowman) was going to create an NZTI scenery....not sure if he still plans to or not. Think it would go nicely alongside NZDN. wink.gif

Yes, I recall Lawrie had NZTI in the pipeline. I have recreated the AFCAD, so there's no need for a copy now.

I have actually made a start on NZTI. Its only in its early stages though, AFCAD, Flattens and Excludes are all ive done so far.
Its built specifically to fit the NZ Topo strips, so i dont know if it will fit Robin's old Godzone photoreal or not.
It MAY fit Ian Warren's Dunedin photoreal,.................. i built NZDN to fit the NZ Topo, and it just happened to fit Ian's photoreal perfectly as well, so you never know, NZTI may fit it as well...............

I would imagine a finished NZTI scenery from me would be about a month away. Im trying to finish of NZHR Hanmer Springs and NZGS Gisborne that im working on.

Howdy Lawrie,

Surprisingly, Robin's old Godzone NZTI fits the Dunedin photoreal like a glove. I've only installed the airport buildings (left the F&P factory complex out; there's factory/office Autogen there, anyway) and it all lines up. Doing a top-down view of the photoreal (from 3.5 miles) shows the 05-23 rwy and this too lines up with both the Godzone building placement as well as Google Earth. Just had to break open the old AFD file and extract the correct rwy headings. All that's really missing are fence lines (BTW: have created a seven-strand wire fence library.bgl if you're at all interested) and a few vehicles.

Hiya Dorian,.........

I cant say whether my NZTI scenery will fit the photoreal or not,........ as i said above, im building it to fit the location of the NZTopo strips, and not the default strips.
The 2 are some distance apart, and i would tend to think Christian's Topo strips are more accurately placed than Microsoft's default ones.
You never know though,......... my NZDN scenery was built to fit the NZ Topo, and by a fluke, it also fitted Ian's Dunedin photoreal perfectly.........
I cant find my old Godzone discs,......... so i cant try the old NZTI photoreal,............. must be still packed up in box somewhere out in the garage from our house move not so long ago.

Yes, i would be interested in the fences and vehicles, if the library BGL is in a format that Abacus's EZ Scenery Object Placer can read.
Zip em up and e-mail them to me for a look if they are,.............
