Hello,

I am using the Red Baron 20m mesh for NZ with FSX and am quite happy with it. Only in some regions (esp. around Milford Sound) I have a lot of problems with elevated rivers. I am not sure if this is caused by the Red Baron mesh/topo or the FSX standard/FS Genesis mesh.

Has anyone else experienced this as well and knows if there is a fix?

Hahaha ... great screenie! This topic has come up a few times, so try having a go at the search function - see "Milford flattens" or something like that. I was in exactly the same situation and installed a fix by someone here at NZFF - but I forgot who!!! ... Sorry!

It helps a lot and makes travelling up and down the sound truly spectacular (as it is!) without being ruined by scenery from outer space

One more thing. If you're a frequent NZ flier, then the Roads and Rivers add-on is a great investment. Every river and (I think) almost every major road. See this thread to see what it does for the Wanganui

The milford sound scenery for FSX is here and has mesh fixes and 3D objects /airport included...
