Hi everyone,

I wonder if you can help me out, I'm trying to locate a website which I used to have in my favourites which listed all the scenery available for download for each country....and I can't for the life of me remember what it's called???

I think it may be something like Wunalla FS2004, but not 100%.

If someone here know's what I'm talking about could you please attach the URL to a reply.

Thanks in advance.

Its a good site that... problem is, once you download any substantial amount of scenery, FS takes ages to start up!

Try using Flightsim Manger from www.ranainside.com to mange the areas you do not fly in. Having them switched on puts unessary load on Flightsim producing duplicated textures etc and slows loading times.

If you can "manage" your FS files it can speed up the loading.

with the flightsim manager the "free system RAM feature", what does that actuly do , I thort RAM didnt get cloged up. I rememeber it would always tell me I had like 80mb free RAM then after hitting the "clean" (or something like that) button a few times id hae 170. Confusing lol

Anyone know if the site will be back, it's been down for months?

If you run other programmes before you start FS, they don't always unload RAM completely.
This can cause some degradation in FS performance.
MS Word is especially sloppy at unloading.
Actually, FS9 itself is particularly bad at unloading - try starting it after a reboot and see how slowly it loads, compared to restarting after a previous session.
If you have any decent amount of RAM it essentially stays loaded.
