This scenery project has been on the backburner for a while as my Cresco took priority, then I was waiting for VLC. Anyway, just a bit of testing to do and then I will roll it out. This is my first scenery in a while so it has been good to get back into it. VLC and library objects make things really easy, but there is plenty of custom objects as well. In the meantime - some screens:

mmm ..very nice . drool.gif ....integrates well with VLC (Taranaki looks so nice with VLC). Just how I remember it last time I drove past.

The water tower and dairy factory look great as well!

Cant wait to recreate a few flights I had from Hawera many years ago (Cessna 150 & Tiger Moth).....now we need a nice NZSD & NZNP cool.gif to go with it!

Looking forward to this realistic depiction of Hawera. In my heyday (62 yrs ago) on our cross country navigation training in the trusty old Tiger Moth,we used to have to buzz the sheep off the paddock before we could land at Hawera. No navigational aids in those days and no radio coms just a few compass bearings jotted down on a piece of paper, and if you lost those from your cockpit in the slipstream, you were on your own and up the creek without a paddle, unless you were fortunate enough to be flying in weather that allowed you to revert to Visual Flight Rules. unsure.gif
