I was flying around Great Barrier today and noticed these:

They where not there last time I was flying here, and the only addon I have got for the area since then was Red Baron's new NZ Landclass and updated NZ airspace.
Any idea how to get rid of them?

Yes someone else noticed them too!!!
I have those in the same place and also some down near Invercargill.
At the moment I think the only way to get rid of them is taking them out of the landclass with a landclass editor, which so far has not been too succesful for me.

In the words of Christian himself:
Try this:
Move the lc*.bgl files into a separate folder. Add that folder as landclass scenery in FS2002. Then disable the landclass scenery when flying around the islands where you have the problem. Enable when you fly anywhere else. Not a great fix, but at least workable I hope.
Basically the readme that comes with the landclass files asks you to put the .bgl files in the same folder as your mesh. Take them out and put them in a new folder (Addon Scenery/NZ Landclass/Scenery) and activate it. Deactivate it around Great Barrier and Invercargill.

I had the same problem in my FS-9 as well, rectangles off Great Barrier, Invercargill, and off the coast of Tauranga as well. They only appeared on mine after installing the Geographx 75m Mesh when it became available last year. I recently purchased the NZ Topo Scenery from Geographx, and after installing that, they were gone !! I would recommend the purchase of the Topo scenery to anyone, its money well spent, and what a difference it makes to my flying experience around NZ.
