I see the Snowman site is down, and read the announcements concerning that on this forum.
The scenery was featured by Perfect Flight on 7/31/12.
I have a couple of questions regarding the downloads.
The pre-install instructions note the following.
"You will need my complete FSX Static Objects Library for some objects to show, available free at the following link........ "
That would be FSX*SOL.zip. and
"You will also need the new updated (ver 1.2, released May 2012) free VLC (Vector Landclass) NZ Object Libraries installed in FSX as well, available at the following link……………"

I would like to know if there is a active place to download these files, or are they really necessary.

Regards

vectorlandclass.co.nz is the VLC object library ,snowman said other files should be up at flightsim.com ,and yes to complete the scenery he made would need these object librarys or you mite find you only have quarter of a airport with very little to look at ..

Yeah, I had a look at flightsim.com this morning but no sign of the libs. Hopefully Lawrie still has a local copy he can upload. I know there will be plenty of us who can supply a copy to him from our own installs.

At this stage, the FSX SOL isnt available anywhere else.
For NSFA, there arent too many objects used from the SOL anyway.
Apart from FSX objects, the custom objects included, and the free VLC libraries, all you will really need to complete the main terminal building is
an Object set named ez uk buildings v2, by Colin Green, available from Avsim.com.
filename,, ez_uk_buildings_v2_dxt1.zip .
This contains the objects needed for the main parts of the terminal building, and also the power/generator building beside the fire station.

For the sheds behind the fuel tank farm, you will need an object set named Small Airport Objects 2, by Steve Zeigler, also from Avsim.
filename..... small_airport_objects_2.zip .

There are instructions on where to put these objects in the zip files.

Thank you Creator, Deeknow, Ian, and Snowman, for your information.
TVA uses the VAFinancials program to build our routes, and it's a delight to fly in and out of airstrips with that personal touch provided by you scenery guys.
