Just a word to the wise, but the recent Orbx NZSI Service Pack 2 plays merry havoc with Mike's NZMO_NZMC_NZCI_NZMF freeware scenery pack (Orbx version).

It is fixable (with the exception of NZMF) but I had to:

- completely uninstall all Orbx scenery,
- re-install NZSI, then Service Pack 1 and the first and second Orbx Library,
- re-install Mike's scenery and activate it,
- copy and save the various original Orbx ADE/CVX/Objects.bgls (NZMO, NZMC, NZCI and NZMF) as well as the various Elevation adjustments found in Scenery/World/Scenery for future re-deployment
- re-install Service Pack 2 and the latest Library,
- turn off the new (offending) SP2 Orbx ADE/CVX/Objects/Elevation Adjustments bgls (renamed them .SP2Off)
- re-installed the original (saved) Orbx files

and it's working again.

Hope this saves anyone else from further angst.

Hi guys,

I have a question. ZK-LGD you have stated "- re-install NZSI, then Service Pack 1 and the first and second Orbx Library, " I can not find the first and second Orbx Library? On their webiste there is only Orbx Library 121223 available?

Just as one gets things looking good and working fine it all goes pear shaped!

Mike,

Are you working on a patch for your NZSI freeware airports to work with this new Orbx NZSI patch?

Kind regards.

Tim....

Do a search through the Orbx Forum: Release Announcements. I have downloaded the following libraries (at the time of their release): 120825, 121010, and 121223. They may, of course, be cumulative and if so, then 121223 is the one to get (I admit it ... I'm a belt & braces kinda guy :lol ).

There has been substantial re-modelling of NZMO to reflect the real world airport layout. As a result, Mike's brilliantly modeled terminal is now incorrectly located. NZCI and MC have a raft of new objects and NZMF is, of course, reset to take advantage of the new FTX payware offering.

Thanks Dorian. I will give it a crack.

I have noticed that there are issues with Robin's Godzone Nelson, Wanaka and Lake Tekapo too since the NZSI 002 patch. DOH!!!

Cheers.

Nelson is mentioned here. The others have a similar solution, just change the ICAO for the others.

Wish I'd read this yesterday. I installed the aforementioned scenery and then the NZSI.002 update. Now it's playing all kind of hell with the South Island.

Damn.
