Hi, I really only use FSX for the use of Christchurch Airport, and was wondering if there are any good looking sceneries out there you guys may have used, I heard of ORBX, looks great, But I pay for flight lessons at CAC so dont really have any money to wittle away, any good sceneries you guys have used? Or do ORBX do a demo as such for it?

Cheers

Hi Logan , Christchurch airport work best with the ORBX due to the textures and of a still once season photo , the project has stalled a little but unfortunately it is better used with ORBX all around even in regard to the ground and taxi matching the high res photo, good thing in respect to your training , maybe a few dollars spent but the NZscenery team has considered that giving a closer reproduction specific for regional training - many other area's are freeware and in production so possibly ORBX South Island maybe your best home training tool .

Just messaged you it, just wondering what do you mean with ORBX for the Christchurch scenery? My understanding was ORBX itself was its own scenery? Is that right, or do you mean you have modified ORBX Christchurch scenery? Oh and I downloaded the ORBX demo of Tasmania so well see what its like.

Cheers

NZ Scenery Team's CHRISTCHURCH X incoming , you will still need to buy ORBX NZSI to get the full enjoyment of this scenery - It dose work with VLC but the photo wash's out and is not so striking with the blend making the ORBX better to use .. that is also the autogen designed on it .

Hi, just 2 questions

1. I tried setting the wind to be a nor wester to make runway 29 be the active, but its not, any ideas?
2. Is there any fix for the control tower at christchurch, as some views are blocked by the surrounding buildings.

Cheers

Currently that will be the best you get until I rebuild the airport.
