Anybody here tried this software? Looks pretty interesting the way it gets rid of the ugly FSX rain/snow effects and also adds a couple of other features. I'm having trouble making an ID on their site and am awaiting a response from them but thought that maybe some here has already tried their software and would be willing to share their experience.

a side note - doesn't the code work on this site or is it still to be implemented?

That was something brought up the other day, an effect file that creates propeller tip vortex's, maybe asking a little to much, I guess it gos the same with a weather controlled ocean affect.

I think that is the best with some off these little addons that spice up details.

Another affect is compression cloud/waves with specific humid settings .. many don't look at these many well known phenomenons.

I'm using this product for quite a while now (both in FSX and in P3D) and I really like it! When you fly in the rain and snow the difference between the default FSX/P3D rain/snow effects become very clear! The wing vortex effect is what you are going to see the most and they are a huge step up compared to the default vortexes. Also, the jetblast in the rain/snow is really good looking to! Same goes for the amazing contrails you get in the package. I would really recommend this product if you like to have your sim enhanced a bit!

Thanks Roelio, I capitulated and purchased it. I must say the change from the default rain made it worthwhile for me - though perhaps it might be a bit too subtle now but then again there might be some interaction with my dx10 settings that I should investigate.

I'm very pleased with it - thanks to everyone whose comments swayed me to come over to this.

You must be losing the magic . . . . . or maybe I hadn't consumed enough beer on that last visit!

Parking a Beerbie on the table may not be the problem .. all these fibre optics blokes maybe .. out mowing the lawn and chased down by a van ... they saw the wrath of my powerful lawnmower and stepped back .. had it been a B-52 ;) I would have had them running :D
