Not sure if this is the correct thread but since it's about building scenery rather than using it in Multiplayer at this stage it seemed the place to start.

I thought I'd try my hand at creating an FS9 mission. I have AFCAD and EZ-Scenery.

Normally I'd create an AFCAD then add objects too it to give me my scenery package. Then add it using the usual Scenery Library procedures.

If I'm doing at SAR type scenario for others to share - how do I get on with hiding the location details from displaying in the Airport selection in the main start up window?

I'm assuming of course that I still have to use AFCAD. I can do it this way, but of course anybody could then just select the location and go straight to it, which defeats the purpose.

I need to hide the AFCAD within the scenery .bgl somehow.

i did the afcad for the NZFFAC rescue mission, what i did was created the afcad, sent it to mike and he placed the scenery. BUT only he and i had the afcad, so we could see where it was. So place the SAR oject on the afcad and keep that afcad to urself.

Cheers Craig,

With you so far. But without the AFCAD how does the sim know where to place the scenery objects for those who download the file?

I thought it was the AFCAD that contained the co-ordinates.

you dont need a afcad to place the scenery on ,you could just place the buildings or crash site without a runway or a flatten spot , no problem the bgl file holds all the info model and place ment stuff with in it afcad is just the tech stuff for runways and stuff
