Almost my little smurfs...

A slight delay due to 20m Mesh arriving and me wanting to make sure it worked for both 75m and 20m mesh... Unfortunately, it did not (as Auckland Hospital seems to float), so I had to redo it for the 20m mesh.

And to make it nice and tidy, I decided to create an installer... so I have just spend the last 2 days learning how to work the Nullsoft Scriptable Install System. VERY powerful, if somewhat complex.

Anyhoo, I have finished the installer, and am just waiting for the testing team to give it the all clear and I will see about finding somewhere to host it.

What does this package do?
  • Makes Auckland Hospital Helipad landable (adds in Helipad objects as well[1])
  • Fixes ASB Centre helipad so that you can actually land on it
  • Creates NZBC (ASB Centre), NZJL (Auckland Hospital) and NZMB (Mechanics Bay) as 'airports' within FS2004. This means you can use them, like any other airport, as a starting point, in Navplanner/Map and/or in GPS etc.

What does this package require?
  • FS2004 - will not work with FSX
  • RealNZ Auckland City for FS2004 - well duh!
  • RBE Mesh - Can use Freeware 75m or Payware 20m
  • FinneyAir Chopper World - available at www.hovercontrol.com

cheers,
HCP

[1] requires FinneyAir Chopper World libraries to see the helipads. Roof is still landable without, you just dont get the pretty helipad object.

I already have that in my fs2004- I think the AFCAD came as part of Charl's 10 squirrel AI package a while ago?

If I use your AFCAD instead, will the AI still fly to and from MB?

its not an AFCAD as such. It was an XML airport descriptor that I compiled to a BGL. If it causes any issues, you can just rename the appropriate bgl to disable it. They are labelled fairly obviously:

eg. RealNZ_AKL_NZMB_MechBay.bgl

Yip these are nothing like charl stuff ,these are hardenpad models made by HCP that harden the pads properly around the two pads that never worked ,the start points are exact to those pads and dont put any afcads under buildings etc ....
this is all new and a must fix to auckland realnz buy robin if you fly choppers around there a bit

Ok folks, it would appear that everything is as it should be... so this package is now available for Download Here.

In the unlikely event that you have issues, please be aware that I am off to Sydney for 2 days (back late friday night)... and will be 'sans internet' so please do not be offended/upset if I dont get back to you immediately.

cheers,

Hmmmm... it would appear as though the scenery and the helipad are offset for some reason...

Also, you only appear to have 1 pad... there should be 2... which packages did you install?

Problem solved. Internet Explorer seemed to have a hissy fit in the download. Got it ok with Firefox

Cheers again smile.gif
