I am starting a new scenery project to practice all I have learned so far and have decided it will be a new RNZAF airforce base complete with AI. But cant decide where in NZ it should be. So I am asking for any ideas please on where an INTERESTING place to put an airforce base.

WHAT PART OFF NEW ZEALAND ! .. Why 'AIR FORCE' were do you live .. Why not your local ! if already getting worked on , maybe Target an airfield were you can take photos , and use to build , smile.gif even the smallest airstrip created makes it FUN to learn rather JUMPING in the deep end for your first . unsure.gif .. nothing better than a tin building , and placing your built structure s exact or least best to your eye , smile.gif sure be lotta small farm types in Tauranga.

EDIT .. IDEA .. Create DeaneB Airstrips ... Special for FU24 ! winkyy.gif good learning curve ..

I agree with Ian.

Why not make it a real airport? Attention to detail is a relative thing and even if I were working on a basic airstrip, I know i'd put just as much attention into the small things as I would if it were a multi-runway airforce base.

Start with a small field that you know of, real airfields are muchmore popular than fictional ones (apart from fictional airstrips, like Tony's place in VOZ)
