Please understand I am a humble flight planner and part time a/c painter and I like to learn about what other simmers do hence my
original question.
I assume then that the micromesh is not connected to the taxiways or runways as such ?
If I am going to tweak the afcad then as long as I dont connect any taxiways to the mesh then all will be good?
Also if any of this area gets deleted it will affect the scenery ?
Also I was wondering why the cross rwy had not been activated, is it used in reality or not ?
Sorry about all the questions but I like to know whats going on with these things.
Greta scenery by the way, dont know how you have the patience.
Cheers

No, the micromesh is NOT connected to any of the runway or taxiway tracks.
YES,....... just make sure that NONE of the tracks are connected to "micromesh", and all will be good.
In my sim, if you remove the micromesh while using RBE 20m mesh, the end of the runway becomes buried.
Runways DONT flatten in AFCAD, only the taxiways flatten the immediate surrounding area.
Micromeshing is useful for very small niggles like the end of the runway being buried at NZWT as an example, and you can shape it to the countours (or colours) of the ground textures.
From current Google sattelite pics, most of the other runway is not in use now, appears to be bisected by new roads, and a new housing sub-division.
Sometimes i dunno how i have the patience either.........
Youve got more patience than me,................................... all those flight plans.............................. Line after line of text,................. aye aye aye............
Lawrie.
