I run FSX with the Red Baron Topo addon, and have noticed that the line drawn racetracks that are close to towns, (eg. Oamaru, Alex, etc) come up filled with water.
Now, I know NZ can get wet, but...
Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanx

Hi Rob. Yes this has been a bug I've endured since I've had FSX. It looks really weird from the air. I too would love to find a fix.
Cheers

I've noticed that as well, on the upside they would make great racing circuits for FS boats.

Well I think I know why the racecourses are wet. Surprisingly it has nothing to do with global warming!
NZ Topo was designed for FS9 and the texture id used for the racetrack is water in FSX.
Somewhere there is a config file for ID’s and texture assignments?
What do you think?

I'm off to the RBE support forum to see what they know...
